Apartment Cleaning

Urban Apartment

FreshNest was called in to provide a comprehensive move-out cleaning service for a two-bedroom apartment in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The client, a young professional relocating for work, needed the apartment restored to its original condition to meet lease requirements and ensure a full security deposit return. The space had moderate buildup in the kitchen and bathroom, light carpet stains, and cabinets that hadn’t been cleaned in months. Our team performed a full interior clean, including inside all appliances, baseboards, window sills, and high-touch surfaces. Special care was taken to remove water stains, scrub tiles, and eliminate lingering cooking odors, leaving the unit sparkling clean and inspection-ready.

This project focused on restoring the apartment to like-new condition. Our deep clean helped the client pass the final inspection and secure a full deposit refund.

The Challenge of Project

Move-out cleanings often reveal months of unnoticed buildup, and this urban apartment was no exception. The kitchen had grease deposits in hidden corners and inside the oven, while the bathroom showed signs of soap scum and minor mildew. Dust had settled on shelves, ceiling fans, and windowsills. Time was tight — the client only had a 24-hour window before the property manager’s walkthrough.

  • Heavy grease buildup inside oven and range hood
  • Dusty cabinets, baseboards, and high corners
  • Bathroom mildew and hard water stains
  • Tight 24-hour turnaround window
  • Limited parking and elevator access
  • Removing light carpet stains near the entrance
  • Deep cleaning inside fridge and microwave
  • Neutralizing food and pet odors

The Result of Project

The move-out cleaning was completed within the tight 24-hour deadline, and the apartment looked immaculate. The client was thrilled with the results, and the property manager approved the condition with no deductions from the security deposit. Surfaces sparkled, floors were freshly vacuumed and mopped, and even the smallest details — like light switches and closet shelves — were thoroughly cleaned.
